RedNote Video Downloader
This is the RedNote video downloader for a public video note. RedNote is the international name for Xiaohongshu (小红书). A RedNote video download and a Xiaohongshu video download hit the same note ID and the same media CDN — the difference is the words on the share card, not a second app.
Paste a rednote.com note URL, an xhslink.com short link, or the full share text. Preview the cover and title, pick a resolution when the note offers one, and save MP4. The tool stays on this page.
Photos belong on the RedNote photo downloader. A clean file, when the CDN exposes one, is covered on the RedNote video downloader without watermark. The Xiaohongshu-named twin of this page is the Xiaohongshu video downloader.

- Paste. Drop the clipboard into the box above. Confirm the preview is a video note, not a photo carousel.
- Download. Choose a resolution when one is offered, then save the MP4. Keep the tab open until the file finishes.
What a RedNote video download actually saves
The parser reads the first valid URL in your paste and asks the public note for its media list. When the note is a video, you get the CDN stream as MP4. We do not re-encode it, so a 1080p or 4K choice appears only when the creator uploaded that height and the CDN still serves it.
Screen recordings are a different file. They capture the player chrome, the username sticker, and whatever else was on your display. This page requests the note file itself. If the creator burned a logo into the picture, that logo is part of the file and stays.
Link formats this page accepts
- rednote.com note URLs from the international brand
- xhslink.com short links from the mobile share sheet
- xiaohongshu.com/explore/… discovery URLs, including ones with an xsec_token
- Full share text — emoji and title lines are ignored
Private notes, deleted posts, and expired short links have no public file to fetch. Copy a fresh Share → Copy Link and retry. Longer fixes are on Xiaohongshu download not working.
