Expired short links (xhslink)
Short links and xsec_token values expire. Open the note again in Xiaohongshu / RedNote, tap Share → Copy Link, and paste the new clipboard contents. Do not reuse a link from an old chat. Details: how to copy a Xiaohongshu link.
Invalid or incomplete paste
If we cannot find a valid Xiaohongshu link in the pasted text, you may have copied a caption without a URL, a profile page, or a screenshot. Paste the entire share card, or copy the address bar explore URL including query parameters.
Timeouts and “did not respond”
When Xiaohongshu does not respond in time, we do not save that attempt as a personal download history. Hosting logs, rate limits, and analytics may still record technical signals — see the Privacy Policy. Wait a moment and tap Try again, or switch networks (Wi‑Fi ↔ mobile data). Rate limits may ask you to wait ~60 seconds.
Device-specific save issues
Sometimes the parse succeeds but the file is hard to find. On Android check Files → Downloads (Android guide). On iPhone finish with Share → Save to Files / Save Video (iOS guide).
